We are delighted to announce the arrival of Pat & Denise Rigney's magnificent new yacht named ‘Curious Journey’

The RIYC’s triage of events came to a conclusion with the Maples Group RORC IRC European Championships with four days of windward leeward and tight round the cans races in Dublin Bay. The weather gods looked favorably on the event and the full schedule of nine races were completed. It followed the Northern Trust J Cup and the Unio ICRA National Championships

RIYC Cadet Sailing Program news!  

As usual this will be a joint Club endeavour with the waterfront clubs working together to get the best possible TY programme going forward. 

A unique schedule of major sailing championships will be hosted by the Royal Irish Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire in 2024, in what will be three weeks of premiere keelboat racing.

Congratulations to our RIYC White Sails Cruiser team of Joan Sheffield (Just Jasmin), Katherine Sheehan (Great Escape) and Catherine Day (Shearwater) on winning the Roy Family Perpetual Trophy for the best team performance at the Women At The Helm (WATH) 2024 regatta held at Dun Laoghaire.

When you become a Member of the Royal Irish Yacht Club, you automatically become a Member of the Irish Sailing Association (Irish Sailing) which is the national governing body for sailing, powerboating and windsurfing.
