The RIYC BOOK CLUB is about the enjoyment of reading. Monthly meetings are usually held the first Wednesday of the month, they are relaxed occasions and no one in this group should feel obliged to read every book every month.
In addition to the monthly meetings the Group regularly participates in Club lunches and events. Come and make some new friends, share a laugh, have some complimentary tea and scones, talk about all types of topics & generally just have a good time. Meetings start at 1100 hrs.

Our next meeting will be in September 2022.  The books and dates for the coming months are as follows.

September 7th     The Lacunae -  Barbara Kingsolver
October 5th          The Power of Geography - Tim Marshall    (This is his 2nd book.  We have read his first Prisoners of Geography some years ago.)
November 2nd      Lessons in Chemistry -  Bonnie Garmus
December (date to be arranged to fit in with the Christmas Lunch)   Grey Bees -  Andrey Kurkov
January/February  (date to be agreed)    Freezing Orders - Bill Bowder
