RIYC at Women at the Helm Regatta

15/06/2026

A huge congratulations to RIYC Members,  Tamara Ringwood and the Just Jasmin crew on winning the White Sails Class, and to Nicola Murray Hayden, helm on the Dublin Bay 21 Estelle, who took second place in that Class at this year's Women at the Helm Regatta.

Organised by the National Yacht Club and sponsored by SIA Partners  it was a weekend of contrasting conditions, with strong gusty winds on Saturday and lighter, testing breezes on Sunday.

Despite being light on crew for both days of racing, Tamara had a confident determination, along with Tim Costello's tactical guidance, securing a well-deserved class victory. Just Jasmin have ranked highly in several WATH since its inauguration in 2019 and  were part of the RIYC 3-boat team in 2024 to take home the Roy Family Trophy.

Well done to all the RIYC entries and their crew on their participation in the Women at the Helm Regatta.
