RIYC SAILING

The Club's fundamental purpose or "mission" is to provide activities, facilities, social and training programs in accordance with the needs of members, and since its foundation in 1831, the Royal Irish has been actively promoting the sport of yacht racing in Dublin Bay and beyond.

The Royal Irish Yacht Club is fortunate to have at its disposal all the components required to meet our members sailing needs. In addition to the governance provided by the Committee and sub-committees, the club has a professional Sailing Services Manager and a Boathouse team that is second to none on the waterfront.

For some, sailing is a pastime, for others, their sport of choice. Regardless of age, ability or goal, we aim to provide our sailors and those new to the sport, with the very best experience possible.
Contact our Sailing Services Manager - Mark McGibney by email on mark@riyc.ie  or by telephone on 087-9481707
