2024 marks the bicentenary of the founding of the RNLI.  For 180 of those years there has been a RNLI Station in Dun Laoghaire and today both a Trent class all-weather lifeboat and an inshore lifeboat operate from the station. The Dun Laoghaire Trent class all weather lifeboat has just completed a major re-fit and will be returning to the station over the weekend of March 22nd/23rd.

The RNLI receives no government funding and relies on donations for the continuation of their great work.
During 2024 we will be holding a number of fundraising events for the lifeboat service and the first of these is on Saturday April 13th when we will host a supper in the dining room with entertainment being provided by Third Time Lucky – an award-winning vocal quartet singing in the acapella and barbershop style. Proceedings will begin 19:30 hrs. The cost is €50.00 per person  please book below – guests are most welcome.

If you can't make this event, you can make a donation to the RNLI Here
