Tim Goodbody Jr is living in Majorca and working as a professional yacht skipper on the classic yacht “Rowdy” and he also races aboard other yachts for specific events.
Earlier in March he was tactician on 108ft super yacht “Win Win” and they won St. Barth's Bucket regatta in the Caribbean with two first and a second. Very fresh, gusty conditions kept everyone on their toes as.
On his return to Majorca, he competed in the BM Composites OK Dinghy Regatta hosted by the RCNP in Palma and achieved 8 firsts out of eight races – a pretty good result. There were 15 boats competing representing UK, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Australia and Ireland.
The OK Dinghy is a 4m long single-handed sailing racing dinghy, longer than a Laser and shorter than a Finn and has world-wide popularity.
Well done Tim!
