RIYC Deck Services Resume

We are delighted to announce that the Boathouse and Sailing Services re-opened on Monday 18th May.
We have prioritised the launching of the boats stored on the deck to make way for the dry sailing and dinghy fleet that may sail under the current Government guidelines and to get members boats that have wintered in the water up for essential maintenance work.
 
We envisage having space on the deck for summer sailing from the week beginning 1st June.

It is imperative that the club maintains Contact Tracing records during this period and therefore request that contact is made with the club prior to arrival. This may be done by email to mark@riyc.ie or text to 0879481707
 
Some rules that apply to members attending the club at this time are;
 
There shall be no breach to the government guidelines.i.e.
 
1. Members who live within the 5 Km radius from the club may attend.
2. Social distancing of 2 metres shall be maintained at all times
3. You should not attend if you are showing any of the symptoms of CV-19
4. You should not attend if knowingly been in contact with a known CV-19 Patient in the last 14 days

The numbers allowed on the deck at any one time will be controlled by the sailing services manager.
Please note that the changing rooms and toilets will NOT be open until 25th May 
Members will sanitise their hands on arrival and departure of the premises. (located at the main gate)
No access to the Sailing office, boathouse office or workshop permitted at any time.
Communication with the boathouse staff should be by phone/email only.
