The RIYC CINE CLUB runs free monthly screenings for members and their guests in the Drawing Room. The ambience of the Drawing Room provides a perfect backdrop where you can relax in an armchair and enjoy the movie. Wednesday 24th October-  Dare to be Wild with introduction from filmmaker Vivienne De Courcy
Filmmaker Vivienne De Courcy’s  will introduce Dare to be Wild,  the story of Irishwoman Mary Reynold's journey from rank outsider to become the first Irish person to win a Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show.  Dare to be wild is Vivienne De Courcy’s  first feature film released in 2016 and is shot partly on the shores of Roaring Water Bay in West Cork. Screening is free to all members and their guests with introduction at 2000 hrs. Optional pre-screening supper available in the Dining Room from 1900 hrs -  €20 for main course and a glass of wine. Wednesday 28th November – Tea with Mussolini
Tea with Mussolini stars Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Joan Plowright, Cher and Lily Tomlin. The Merchant Ivory film is a semi-autobiographical story of director, Franco Zeffirelli, at the outset of World War 11.
